Orthodontics

The majority of patients do qualify for at least one of our three different ortho techniques.
Whenever any type of orthodontics procedure is performed the patient can expect
some discomfort especially in the very early stage of treatment. The discomfort typically subsides very quickly and may be present for 24 hours or so after each visit.
No, at Zambito Family Dentistry we feel the best way to achieve an optimal cosmetic and functional result is to be clinically evaluated (in person) to see if you are a good candidate, and eliminate any pathology potentially in the mouth (cavities, periodontal diseases). Then, after your examination we can track your progress throughout the treatment.
We at Zambito Family Dentistry offer three different types of orthodontic procedures. Each of these has its own pros and cons, but which is best for the patient needs to be determined between Dr. Zambito and the patient.

Implant

The implant is the newest and most minimally invasive technique to replace a
 missing tooth.
We use the most advanced technique which limit most of the surgical procedure by incorporating our 3D Xray, as well as our 3D printer to construct surgical guides; this all lessens the pain associated with the procedure.
Allow us to help decide if you are a candidate for implants or an alternative
procedure that will work best for your situation.
Getting a tooth the same day as surgery is not the normal procedure, but there are times where we can do a transitional temporary tooth.
The surgical procedure to place the implant is usually about an hour procedure.
Then there is a waiting period of 3-6 months before we can complete the crown over the implant.

Crowns

A crown is full coverage of your tooth with a material that will restore the
 tooth back to normal function.
We use several different materials that best fits your situation. We will
discuss this at your appointment. Some materials include porcelain and
 zirconia.
No, it is not always necessary to do a root canal in order to do a crown.
That is true, based on your situation you can come to the appointment with a challenge and walk out with a porcelain crown.
We will evaluate your condition of the tooth as well as your gums and your bite, from this information we will discuss with you what is best.

Therapeutic Botox

Based on the cause of the headaches we have seen tremendous success
helping our patients decrease and even eliminate the painful debilitating
 headaches.
Each person will be different based on their condition. We would need to
 evaluate your condition.
No, it will not cause that effect.
Yes, it can absolutely help. We need to determine the cause to see if it would
be a good treatment for you.
You would need to discuss that with your medical insurance, we will help you
with that if you request it.

Invisalign

Yes! That is one of the benefits of this removable orthodontic treatment.
No! The trays are to be worn 22 out of 24 hours a day. However, they should be
removed for eating, brushing/flossing, and drinking something with a heavy dye.
Invisalign fees depend on how many trays your case would be, so some cases are much cheaper with Invisalign than braces. We also offer 3rd party Payment Plans that can include 0% interest.
The doctor would need to evaluate and see if enough movement has occurred to move
on to the next tray. If it has not Invisalign will send a duplicate tray.
There are only a few select situations where Invisalign would not be a good option.
That can only be determined by a certified Invisalign provider like Dr. Zambito.
Yes! The treatment plan would be designed in a way by Dr. Zambito to avoid any damage to treatment.

Cosmetic Botox

Botox Cosmetic is an FDA approved treatment to temporarily reduce frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines to increase a smooth younger look.
No, will not cause that issue.
This would be considered a cosmetic treatment, and you would need to discuss that with your medical insurance.
Botox focuses more on the cause of frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet,
which is the muscle contraction, therefore softening or eliminating the lines.
Most of our patients start to see results within a few days. We instruct our patients to wait 2 weeks and then return for an evaluation.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are injections of different materials that will plump up an area
deficient of volume, as well as smooth wrinkle lines in the facial area, giving you a more youthful appearance.
As we age our body starts to lose collagen. Decreased amounts of this collagen will give you a loss of volume, as well as a loss of your elasticity leading to “saggy area”.
That would depend on each patient, but the majority of our patients like to plump their
lip, cheeks and as well as the folds around the mouth area. We can place these fillers
anywhere that has lost volume and requires to be plumped up.
Yes, this a very common cosmetic treatment to get favorable results. Every year
more that 3 million people choose to get Dermal Filler to accomplish a younger
 look.
Our patients have found the combination of Botox, Derma Fillers, and PDO Threading seems to be the answer.

PDO Threads

PDO is short for polydioxanone thread therapy. They are used to reduce appearance of wrinkles, improving skin elasticity and help droopy cheeks. We are now using them in our lip enhancement procedures as well.
There are several styles of PDO threads. The smooth threads are used to help reduce
sunken wrinkles and add volume. We also use them to enhance our lip augmentation.
We have also seen fantastic results on the necklace line. The PDO threads that are barbed fasten to your skin and lift and support certain parts of your face.
Thread lifting is skin rejuvenation treatment, that helps your body’s natural collagen production. Collagen helps the skin stay plump and youthful.
Injectable dermal fillers usually last close to a year while PDO threads last much
longer based on our patient’s lifestyle.
The lifting threads usually have only one appointment, and the smooth PDO thread
may have 1 to 3 treatments based on what our patient’s desires are.
